U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton said in an interview to Fox News that someone in Pakistani government knows precise location of the most wanted world terrorist Osama bin Laden and his deputy Ayman Al-Zavahiri. In further explanation Mrs. Clinton said that knowledge would likely not to be in the top level of Pakistani’s government but it’s very possible to be in bureaucratic levels of administration.
“If there were a terrorist somewhere in a remote place in the United States, some sheriff, some local state policeman, somebody in our collective government would probably know there was something suspicious going on. I assume somebody in this [Pakistani] government from top to bottom does know where bin Laden is, and I’d like to know, too”, said Mrs. Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton is strongly confident that stronger relation between U.S. and Pakistan would give more results as it was in previous cases when joint forces captured several key al-Qaida officials. Those are given as reference on previous condition of bilateral relations inherited from previous governments in both states. Parts of U.S. political and social society are concerned about additional U.S. financial aid in Pakistan. State Secretary is firmly secure that bilateral relationship will even have a “long-term benefit” for the trouble U.S. economy as well.
“We’ve created a much closer, cooperative relationship between the United States and Pakistan in going after what are now common enemies. I don’t want to put a proximity or timeline on it … but I won’t be satisfied until we get [him],” she said.
She also wants to improve bureaucratic cooperation because that would help to gather quality information’s and help to capture bin Laden.
